Alex delivers Regen’s support of net zero at the local level, ensuring that place is a key consideration for, and driver of, the energy transition. In his role, Alex supports Innovate UK’s Net Zero Living programme, in demonstrating the power and scalability of locally led approaches to net zero, and Northern Powergrid to enable regional net zero by empowering low-carbon technology growth and community energy projects.
With a postgraduate degree in environment, development and policy, Alex previously worked in environmental communications. Specialising in energy infrastructure, he is experienced in delivering stakeholder engagement programmes, producing regulatory and technical documents and leading campaigns that stress the value and urgency of the energy transition.
