Tamsyn is a senior energy analyst interested in all things people and digital. She also worked on multiple projects around local authority energy planning and data and digitalisation. As lead analyst for SSEN DFES 2021, and project manager for the same modelling project in 2022, she has experience in leading and delivering on energy modelling across the distribution electricity networks. A major goal underpinning her work has been to work with stakeholders to integrate their views and industry expertise into the assumptions underpinning analysis projects.
Tamsyn has worked on the Distribution Future Energy Scenarios, first as a lead analyst and then as a project manager, giving her a broad perspective on the whole energy system, scale of renewable energy ambition, and the investment needed to upgrade electricity network infrastructure. Under the Open Energy Data project with UK Power Networks, she has explored the data needs for local energy planning to facilitate data centralisation and availability, as well as awareness and accessibility. She has a Masters degree in Environmental Policy from the Paris School of International Affairs. Previous professional experiences have encompassed topics like renewable energy reports, energy efficiency, waste-to-energy and impact investment.
