Tuesday 17 November
OpenLV is a three-and-a-half-year project, managed by EA Technology and hosted by Western Power Distribution, that aimed to demonstrate the value of distributed intelligence on the local electricity networks and how community organisation, businesses and academia utilised the data that it made available to them.
In this first webinar of a two-part series we will be explaining the technical benefits of distributed intelligence platforms, such as the LV-CAP™ technology trialled in this project. This webinar will explain the outcome of the network trial, when units were deployed and utilised in distribution substations, including how the technology was used for automated control of the network, and the arrangements that were put in place to ensure the cyber security of the platform.
We hope you will be able to join us for the second webinar in the series, to be held on 26th November 2020 that will explain what happened when we offered to make the data from distributed intelligence LV-CAP™ platforms available to community organisations, businesses and academia.
Once you register for the first webinar you will be automatically be directed to the registration page for the second webinar.
