This series of online and in-person sessions are tailored specifically to address the operational challenges and collaboration needs of asset managers and owners who oversee renewable energy generation assets in National Grid Electricity Distribution’s (NGED’s) licence area.
The forums will facilitate direct interaction between NGED’s control room staff and existing generation assets, to enable constructive discussions for long-term progress and tangible outcomes.
The third session of the year will be an online check-in, providing an opportunity to hear a brief update from NGED on major network changes and information on the DG portal. We will also have space for you to raise any direct questions or issues.
With an estimated 12 GW of connected assets represented, including solar PV, onshore wind, hydro, energy storage, anaerobic digestion, and gas peakers, the forum provides a diverse perspective on renewable energy technologies and the relating operational challenges.
The forums will also provide opportunities to connect with peers, share experiences, and explore potential partnerships, whilst learning from others in the industry.
