Northern Powergrid Community Energy Forum: Community Renewables in a Climate Emergency

This online forum was for community energy practitioners, climate action groups and local energy stakeholders in Northern Powergrid’s region. At our community energy forum, we discussed renewable electricity and heat generation projects that communities can do with the scale needed for our climate emergency. Northern Powergrid updated us on their next business plan, options for connecting to their network and support available for communities, before we heard from community energy experts, including Circular Malton and Norton, Communities for Renewables and Ambition Community Energy on models for community renewables projects which are viable now.
