Northern Powergrid Community Energy Forum

This community energy forum is to bring community energy practitioners and climate action groups together with local authorities and other local energy stakeholders in Northern Powergrid’s region. At our final forum of the year, we’ll be focusing on how community energy organisations and local authorities can best collaborate to tackle the energy crisis and the climate emergency.
Northern Powergrid will also outline how they can support communities to connect more low carbon technologies and renewable projects to their network, and the key changes on connections policy which are coming in 2023. We will seek your views on how Northern Powergrid should be supporting the community energy sector moving forward, so that your priorities are reflected in their refreshed Community Energy Engagement Strategy. You’ll get the chance to talk to Northern Powergrid’s team, and discuss projects that interest you in virtual breakout rooms with local energy experts.
