The Regen Art Lab’s artist residencies are interdisciplinary collaborations between our clean energy experts and UK-based, early career artists.
What are the overarching aims of the residency programme?
The artist residency programme supports our mission, to transform the energy system for a just and zero carbon future, by bringing diversity of thought to the challenge by:
- creating engaging artworks which humanise knowledge, reaching new audiences, and mainstreaming energy transition issues;
- giving an early career artist the opportunity to create innovative work in a scientific context;
- platforming and bringing in under-represented voices in the energy industry* to help shape our sustainable future.
*We are particularily keen to recieve artist applications from groups underrepresented in the energy sector, such as ethnic minorities, people from low-income backgrounds, people living with a disability, women and the LGBTQ+ community.
