As a project manager, Becky works with data, visualisation tools and continuous stakeholder engagement to deliver high-quality research, insight and analysis.
Following her MSc in marine renewable energy, Becky has worked with developers to assess the whole-system benefits of floating offshore wind expansion and actively engages with the wider supply chain to ensure that the maximum socio-economic benefits of floating offshore wind can be realised.
In previous work with the Marine Offshore Renewable Energy team, Becky developed a site characterisation and reliability assessment for a tidal stream deployment in France. With a published academic report behind her in this area, she is keen to strengthen the relationship between industry and academia to ensure efficient progression of the marine renewables sector.
Becky also works on local area energy planning, contributing to the development of a local energy plan with a focus on terrestrial and marine innovation technologies, and reviewing how existing decarbonisation pathway plans can better support local authorities to meet their net zero targets.
