Regen chief executive, Merlin Hyman, launches the newly named Renewable Futures: Net-Zero Summit ahead of the conference on 27 November.
We all know that the speed and scale of action are not yet ambitious enough to meet the net-zero goal.
So this year we have decided to turn our annual Renewable Futures conference into the “Net-Zero Summit” and focus on how we scale up the level of investment and scale of delivery.
We will be talking to Scottish Power CEO Keith Anderson; to leading investors and developers on mobilising billions; to digital entrepreneurs on disrupting the system; and to networks and system operators about how to ensure the pipes and wires can cope.
We will also give our evening Green Energy Awards dinner over to celebrating the pioneering projects; great companies and inspiring people whose extraordinary achievements have shown us what is possible.
I look forward to seeing fellow travellers on the net-zero journey at the summit in Bath on 27th November.
