We have put together this briefing for community energy groups to help community and local energy stakeholders have their say on Western Power Distribution’s (WPD) first draft plan and core commitments. We have gone through WPD’s draft business plan and pulled out the draft commitments that are particularly relevant to communities. However, we are also keen to hear from you where communities may be able to work with WPD to achieve broader business plan objectives and create value for all customers (for example by providing flexibility services).
To have your say on our 67 draft commitments we would encourage you to respond to WPD’s formal consultation here, the deadline is 28 February.
