Charlotte Wason

Energy analyst

Charlotte specialises in data collection, analysis, mapping and visualisation to support Regen’s insight papers and project reports. Her work focuses on communicating complex energy concepts in a clear and accessible way. Since joining Regen, she has contributed to the 2023 and 2024 iterations of the Distributed Future Energy Scenarios (DFES) for Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks and National Grid Electricity Distribution. She has also led the Devon Renewable Energy Progress Report analysis and contributed to various decarbonisationreports, research projects and government consultations.


Charlotte holds a first-class MEng in Renewable Energy Engineering from theUniversity of Exeter, where she was awarded the RES Power for Good Award in2022 and the Staff Prize for Effort and Achievement in 2023. When she isn’t working, Charlotte can be found searching the Devon coastline for her new favourite spot.
