Regen’s approach is to look across the whole energy system. We don’t focus on specific technologies or treat sectors as silos – we take a whole system view, addressing key strategic challenges for the energy transition.

As a member, you will help us address critical areas such as:

Preparing the grid for connecting clean energy projects at the pace and volume required for net zero

Our Grid Connections Working Group for members engages closely with ESO, Ofgem, DESNZ and the networks to raise awareness of connection issues and provide constructive dialogue, helping to improve the way connections are managed in a net zero world.

Ensuring electricity markets are designed to attract investment in clean power

The government has come forward with proposals for a ‘Review of Electricity Market Arrangements’. Working with our members, we have been at the forefront of debate, championing net zero and ensuring any proposals to reform electricity markets don’t undermine investment in clean power.

Addressing barriers in the planning system for renewables and storage

Our members have identified the planning system as creating delays that impact the deployment of essential renewable energy and storage projects. We're working to update the planning policy framework to ensure it is fit for purpose.

We offer a standard annual membership fee of £1,150+ VAT open to all, or discount packages of £420+ VAT for small/medium enterprises and £360 + VAT for community groups. We also offer tailored packages for local authorities.
