Tim leads Regen's work on flexibility and demand response, with a particular focus on domestic and retail markets. In 2024 Tim completed a Churchill Fellowship on non-financial demand response incentives. Tim joined Regen in 2010 and has built a wealth of experience across the energy system, including building retrofit, heat networks and marine renewables, before spending the last five years focusing on local area energy planning, innovation and customer engagement.
Tim gained a masters in mechanical engineering from Cardiff University in 2005, working in building services, nuclear submarine refit and marine power generation. He lives on Dartmoor and enjoys cats and fog, but not together.
