Hazel is responsible for Regen’s operations and project delivery, leading on resourcing, quality assurance and developing innovative new projects and programmes. Having joined Regen in 2008, Hazel has worked across every aspect of Regen’s project delivery from heat decarbonisation strategies to supply chain analysis, focussing in particular on supporting local authorities and communities with expertise in spatial planning, project development and policy analysis.
Hazel particularly enjoys working with Regen’s analyst team to communicate complex data analysis in a digestible format, highlighting the key messages emerging from the evidence.
Before joining Regen, Hazel worked at the South West Regional Assembly, where she contributed to the region’s climate change action plan. She holds a master’s degree with distinction in International Development from the University of Bath.
Hazel spends her free time escorting a grumpy labrador round the lesser-known footpaths of Somerset.
