Poppy leads our work on local energy, supporting local authorities and communities to plan for and deliver net zero. Since joining Regen in 2017 she has delivered and directed significant areas of work including DFES, network charging, heat delivery and innovation projects.
Poppy particularly enjoys tackling strategic challenges and finding innovative solutions, and is currently Regen’s programme director for our contribution to Innovate UK’s Net Zero Living Programme.
Prior to Regen she worked at EDF Energy for seven years on sustainability strategy and policy as well as for the UK government in the Sustainable Development Commission.
Poppy lives and works in Dorset by the Jurassic Coast and tries, often reluctantly, to swim in the sea once a week.
